Privacy Policy

This website, saraharaide.com, is run by Sarah Araide, who writes as Cece and publishes as Cece’s Publishing House, her independent press. She is responsible for the information collected here. You can reach us through the contact form.

• Letters from Cece (the newsletter): your email address, your name, and when you agreed to receive it.
• Orders (signed copies and VIP packages): your name, phone number, email address, the name for the dedication, and whether you have paid and picked up your order.
• “Get notified” sign-ups: your email address, your name, how many copies you would like and whether you plan to come to the launch.
• The contact form: your name, email address, what your message is about, and your message.

You don’t have to give us any of this. Without it, we can’t answer your message, sign you up or take your order.

Payments are handled by Grow. We never see your card number.

• To send you Letters from Cece, if you asked for it.
• To prepare, sign and hand over your order, send you its details and keep the records the tax authorities require.
• To tell you when signed pre-orders open, if you signed up for that.
• To answer your messages.

• MailerLite (European Union): sends Letters from Cece.
• Grow: takes payments and sends receipts.
• Resend (United States): sends the one email telling you pre-orders are open.
• Cloudflare (United States): hosts this website, its database and our email forwarding, and protects the site from attacks.

Each of them handles your information only for us, under its data-protection terms.

We don’t sell your information or share it with anyone else.

• Letters from Cece: until you unsubscribe.
• Newsletter sign-ups are stored on this website (Cloudflare) until they’re sent to MailerLite.
• Orders: your contact details are deleted 6 months after the launch.
• Receipts and financial records: kept for 7 years, for tax (to be confirmed with my accountant).
• Contact-form messages: deleted after 12 months.
• “Get notified” sign-ups: you get one email telling you pre-orders are open, and your sign-up is deleted after that.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Write to us through the contact form and we’ll reply within 30 days.

We only send Letters from Cece if you tick the box to agree to it; the box is never ticked for you. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

This website sets no cookies for visitors, and uses no Google Analytics, advertising pixels or tracking embeds.

• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies: which page, which website you came from, and your browser, device type and country. It doesn’t identify you.
• The site counts link clicks as daily totals, with no personal data.
• The fonts are served by this website itself, so loading them sends nothing to Google or anyone else.
• Instagram, TikTok and X are plain links: nothing from them loads until you click.
