Who we are
Cece’s Publishing House is the independent press of Sarah Araide, who writes as Cece. It runs this website, saraharaide.com. You can reach us at cece@saraharaide.com.
What we collect
- Letters from Cece (the newsletter): your email address, your name if you give it, and when you agreed to receive it.
- Signed-copy orders: your name, phone number, email address and whether you have paid.
- “Get notified” sign-ups: your email address, your name if you give it, how many copies you would like and whether you plan to come to the launch.
- The contact forms: your name, email address and message.
Payments are handled by Morning and Grow. We never see your card number.
Why we collect it
- To send you Letters from Cece, if you asked for it.
- To prepare, sign and hand over your order, send you its details and keep the records the tax authorities require.
- To tell you when signed pre-orders open, if you signed up for that.
- To answer your messages.
Who processes it for us
- MailerLite: sends Letters from Cece.
- Morning and Grow: take payments and send receipts.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website, its database and our email forwarding, and protects the site from attacks.
We don’t sell your information or share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
- Letters from Cece: while you’re subscribed. Unsubscribing removes you from the list.
- Orders: your contact details are deleted 6 months after the launch; financial records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Email cece@saraharaide.com and we’ll reply.
Marketing emails
We only send Letters from Cece if you tick the box to agree to it; the box is never ticked for you. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies for visitors, and uses no Google Analytics, advertising pixels or tracking embeds.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies: which page, which website you came from, and your browser, device type and country. It doesn’t identify you.
- The fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your internet address to Google when it loads them.
- Instagram and TikTok are plain links: nothing from them loads until you click.
